Americans that thank their soldiers recognize that the soldier signed up to defend their nation's sovereignty, to fight for liberty and freedom. I suspect, just like all soldiers do in every country. Most soldiers do not know the degree to which they are the pawns of corrupt rulers around the world. If they were aware of the truth, they'd realize that their orders are inhumane and illegal, and I suspect many would lay down their arms. Good people around the world are waking up to this game. It is possible that what we're seeing in Ukraine isn't the real story. One just never knows...
