Donna Hylton was convicted of a very similar crime in 1985. Following her release after serving 26 years, she became a feminist activist and was a keynote speaker at the 2017 Women's March on Washington. (Look it up if you don't believe me.) "Not a real feminist" some might say, but then why does she get such a high profile gig?
