Women in Japan will rarely speak up about groping since they “don’t want to disturb the peace” and sometimes it’s hard to tell if someone is actually groping someone because a lot of the time the train riders are packed like sardines. I feel like it makes more sense to have women-only trains there than women-only gyms here because you will most likely get believed.

I lived in Japan for three years. There are very good reasons for this. Women are groped all the fucking time on trains. I have seen it with my own eyes. Dudes of all ages will use their cell phones to take upskirt pics when the girl isn't looking (schoolgirls are required to wear skirts, so consider who's getting photographed). This isn't misandry. It's an attempt at fixing a very real problem. This is one of many reasons why Japanese chicks LOVE western men. Basic human respect.
