Hey everyone,

I'm a 30 y/o guy, and noticed while looking up some women's history that the anti-suffragist movement was predominantly educated white and wealthy. they were both genders who thought women shouldn't have the right to vote or have reproductive rights because it was the women's job to make the home a home away from the evil outside public and nurture.

in America, black men who were previously slaves were able to vote before women. it just seems like it is in women's best interest today to be pretty anti-gender roles. i mean marital rape wasn't illegal in all 50 states until 1993.

to trail back to the anti-suffragist women, does it seem possible that women were really just brainwashed by men? if you just eliminate gender and look at people just as humans it all seems just silly. i as a guy have the same range of emotions as a women. i don't live based on any gender conformity and I'm pretty feminine naturally.

either way, i'd love to here the following-

are conservative women the same as anti-suffragist?

how are they different?
