This is one of the reasons I'm a Anti-Feminist. It's not a secret that in some countries/cultures women are victims of awful men. In reality they have no respect for these women. They don't care for their pain. These women are just pawns in their propaganda against men. Feminism uses these women tragedies to claim all men are evil.

And you'll see those feminists make it out like that whole 78% is all purely male on female when it's not. They used it in the title to mislead as if it is and I doubt they've clarified it, but it seems acid attack statistics are controlled by a sexist bias.

For example the wikipedia page:

In 2016, there were over 601 acid attacks in the UK based on ASTI figures, and 67% of the victims were male, but statistics from ASTI suggest that 80% of victims worldwide are women.

Right at the top they quietly let you know they're sexist because they talk about a high male victim rate but in the same sentence suggest the female rate could be higher in order to overshadow the male victims.

Acid attacks in India, like Bangladesh, have a gendered aspect to them: analyses of news reports revealed at least 72% of reported attacks included at least one female victim.[16] However, unlike Bangladesh, India's incidence rate of chemical assault has been increasing in the past decade, with a high 27 reported cases in 2010.[16] Altogether, from January 2002 to October 2010, 153 cases of acid assault were reported in Indian print media[16] while 174 judicial cases were reported for the year of 2000.[104]

So it leads you to believe that 72% were targeted at females when it could have been targeted at a male but a female bystander got splash damage. So it doesn't even really tell you what percentage of victims were male or female because they've intentionally inflated the female only percentage to mislead you while not including the male victims rate out of all attacks which would not equate to the 100% when including bystanders.
