At 28 years old, I've always thought it's just nice to be with one girl only. Even if girls throw themselves at me, I'd reject them. This tore me up inside and I didn't know why. I got the courage to ask my dad, to which he replied, "Only in America is oneitis socially taught and enforced." From an Asian perspective, only through marriage does dating lots of women stop, and anyone who's not married is fair game.

His reply holds true in a sense of abundance, though I'm not sure how to internalize the idea of meeting/banging lots of women that's not my girlfriend, and spin plates. Is it morally okay, or have I been brainwashed to think it's bad to date lots of women?
