After a brief negative interaction like we were both irritated and rude to each other over text and just both distanced ourselves, should I be letting him take the lead in coming back to me when he's ready?
If it was clearly my fault that we had a negative interaction then I would make efforts to reconcile, but since it was both of us, and he knows I'm stressed about an exam today and we have plans to see eachother tonight for the first time since last week, I really want him to make the first move and be like "That was weird, I'm sorry" and then explain why he responded a certain way and then I can let my guard down and also apologize and explain why I responded the way I did and we can move on. He's good at apologizing when it's clearly his fault, but since this is an ambiguous situation I feel compelled to just fix it but want to give him a chance to rise to the occasion for once.
If he doesn't reach out by the time I'm done with my exam, then I just want to go do something with my friends and not sit at home miserable all night because he didn't text or call me. Also I'm just curious to see whether he takes charge of the situation like a man.
Just needed to rant. Will update tn
