It's because the disgusting system doesn't think women can cause harm to men, and the police, judges, etc, get behind these abusive toxic monsters.

Apparently, suicide for men is way higher in my country than it is for women too. But all I've been seeing in our national news sources is just about women... Yes, I understand in pregnant women and teen girls is relatively high also. But by the looks of it that seems to be swept under the carpet, men suicidal rates are still higher. We really should be focusing on both genders, not just one. It's scary that men are more likely to commit... My ex partner almost ended his life, because he was being bullied by her his female boss and coworkers in the airforce. 4 other young men that worked there almost did the same thing, one older man committed suicide, but the body was never found? No reports of women committing or trying to commit suicide. Probably because it was a women dominated field. I tried my best along with others to take these airforce bosses down and to court. But nope, we just got laughed at and shoved aside like we're nothing. Apparently, they gave some of us (not to my partner and I) money to shut us up. Which wouldn't surprise me...

Divorce, family court, loss of relationships with children, loss of everything in divorce, homelessness, failure to defend themselves due to false allegations.... divorce is really hard on men.

At least some people are actually acknowledging it

Nobody wants to hear it, but suicide in men is often materially motivated. It can't be explained by psychology or sociology alone.

People would rather talk about abstract cultural things like toxic masculinity and how men aren't allowed to express their feelings and so on, but those things aren't actually the reason guys kill themselves. While it would be good to address those issues, that won't fix the problem.

Men are exposed to pressures regarding work, their finances, and their livelihoods in a way the opposite gender often has more shielding from. Over the last several decades, the employment market has changed radically, and had a huge impact on a lot of working and lower middle class men. These are factors that are never talked about.

The fact that the overwhelming majority of homeless people are men, is undoubtedly directly linked in the same root causes as male suicide.

I don't think allowing women into the workplace is a bad thing per se but with current trends of female empowerment and prioritization in higher education, often if not explicitly at the expense of men, men are demanded to meet certain standards that their fathers and their fathers fathers have met and when they fail, they feel worthless. And wage activists refuse to even consider that suddenly doubling the worker pool halves the value of much - especially low skill/easy to replace - labor [Even though I will absolutely agree that the biggest problems that prevent a livable minimum wage are both decoupling from any metal-based standard and the housing crash of 2008].

They live in a society that hates men. It loves the top 5% of men, those 6' or taller with a six figure plus income, but the rest can fuck off. Men in that age range are open season for job discrimination, limiting their economic prospects. When you have limited employment opporutnities, almost zero social outreach programs, and wake up every day to the media parroting "evil men" this, "men are rapists" that, "men need to step aside", yadda yadda yadda, they see the writing on the wall.

It's too bad more of them don't write epic manifestos before going on a shooting spree on the way to a suicide by cop outcome. Maybe then people would care?
