I always get downvoted when I say it, but I honestly believe that staying quiet and never telling the police about being raped only helps one person, the rapist. It gives the rapist the freedom to just keep raping more people.

I once had a fellow female friend of mine try to convince me that girls were discouraged from the sciences in school. I had a teacher encourage me to enter the science fair and I got 3rd place. 🤷‍♀️

Politics too. Women are literally just as likely to win as men, but we're barrage by claims that they're not.
