While its not ok to do something like that, she probably lives in a state where abortion is near impossible to get, and comprehensive sex ed was non existent. She obviously didnt want the child, but could not get an abortion. There really could be a lot of reasons why. Like depression, especially postpartum, or financial stability, etc.
