I am currently in a city that is located in the southwest region of the USA (no, it isn't LA) and in my area, I almost commonly see white girls in the 8 and 9 category go for black guys, Hispanics, and occasionally even an Asian, Indian, or Middle Eastern dude. It's almost like every single hot white girl I know has dated interracial in the past and these girls are model tier too. My friends of minority groups who have their act together have managed to get some really beautiful white girls, I am talking on the level of Victoria Secret supermodel type of looks.

Now when I used to live in NYC, I found that it was very very rare to see a white girl above a 7 or 8 go interracial. Most of the times, it seemed like white guys working in finance or trust fund babies had a monopoly on hot white girls. Even ugly as fuck hipsters managed to get these girls due to some sort of status garbage. When you did see a hot white girl go interracial, especially if the guy wasn't black, it caused a lot of issues and was really something that was way out of the norm (odd given that it is NYC but whatever).

Why is it like this?
