This is not a personal advice, but I don't think it belongs on main sub either.
I have noticed this happening multiple times, enough to be pretty sure there is some pattern to be found:
Girl meets a guy. They hit it off well. He's her alpha, she has his side in the discussion, they vibe well, he calls the shots.
After some time (seen as short as 3 months and as long as 1,5 year) the dynamic starts to change. It's either caused by the LTR repeatability, habitualization and the "domestication" of the BF (she knows she has him) OR because she meets another guy and starts flirting with him.
After that change, she starts disrespecting him (minor things), she takes not-his-side in the discussion (be it her own or someone else, the gist is she previously took his all time), starts to demand to pay for herself, becomes independant in her decisions.
Now we come to the part which I can't wrap my head around: she becomes incredibly affectionate towards her BF, where previously she was not. The amount and level of affection difference is very noticeable.
The questions are:
- What is the process behind this sudden "affection" appearing?
- Is this "affection" genuine one?
- What kind of "affection" is it?
- What is the process behind her wanting a new D and pouring affection on her BF?
- Have you noticed similar behaviour pattern?
I have had a short discussion about it already (2-3 replies) but I won't post it for now as I would like to hear your take on this without external influences.
