There's been plenty, but I find it interesting that people only seem to care about the male ones, especially those who kill women. Only exception is Jeffrey Dahmer, but he was gay, a cannibal, and had sex with the dead bodies of men. And he was considered attractive. Every other serial killer that kills mostly or only men seems not to be cared about too much. The men who killed mostly or only women tend to get cared about the most.

Ever heard of Amelia Dyer? She is probably one of the worst serial killers of all time as it has been estimated that she has killed 200-600+ children, but only 6 have been confirmed. Her motive was for money and she was a baby farmer her job was to take care of children (a bit like a foster parent). What would happen was parents would exchange money for Amelia to take care of their children, but you could only have a certain amount of children at a time, so she would kill them.
