In a magazine, there was a short article written by the PCC. This article did everything that it could to stop women being held responsible for their own actions. This single page was probably the most sexist thing that I have read, including such lines as "keeping women and girls out of the justice system not only benefits them and their families, but the whole community." This surely can't be true. And "most women in the criminal justice system have been the victims of far more grievous crimes than those they were arrested for." I don't know if that is true or not, but even if that is the case, it is my opinion that they should still be held accountable for their own actions, the same as with men. But what do all of you think about this? Am I overreacting?
