To keep it 100% honest... those quotes are not anything that ISN'T happening, it's only surprising in that it is publicly voiced and so clearly expressed.

Think about it... a man kills his kids and himself, what are the headlines? (evil, monster, loser, etc). A woman does the same and what are the headlines or reactions? (mentally ill, her past comes into play - abuse, lonely, bla bla). Society (media) and the justice system actively seek to mitigate or shift focus on the person, their past, mental health, etc when it is a woman. When it is a man.. the 'you should of known better' approach is often applied and 'tough luck'. The man's past, mental health, etc is discounted and seen as the wrong approach to justice when it involves a man, this same stance isn't taken when it's a woman.

For another point, what about female predator teachers and their students? It's often met with 'wish I had her as a student' and the punishment? fired from the job, MAYBE a good behaviour bond, no registering required on the sexual offenders lists, (a slap on the wrist). When it's a man... jail, prison, you are on the list for life, society shames you, etc.

Women are held accountable for the same actions as a man, the EXTENT is what differs when it comes to serious crimes (parking fines, speeding, etc it's the same). I'm talking about murder charges and life imprisonments, pedo cases, sexual harrassment scenarios (if you go to HR with a sexual harrassment claim as a man, you'd be laughed out or be placated and the complaint goes nowhere because 'lol stfu you a man').

Again... I'm just surprised that such a person in such a position openly expressed what is ACTUALLY occurring. Usually it's done subliminally and under cloak and dagger of other mitigating circumstances (to excuse differing punishments).

If you don't mind me asking, which country are we speaking about here? The U.S.?

These are all the same arguments you could make about male defendants. But no one is arguing it is in everyone's interest to keep men out of the system, are they?

One difference is that men tend to commit crimes against people who are not in their families. Women tend to commit crimes against people inside their families. That makes it much easier to turn a blind eye to their crimes. Because if you are privileged enough not to be around those kind of women, they won't pose any threat to you. And the people they victimize are people of very low status, so no one cares. Child murder is the perfect example. Almost all child murders are committed by the child's mother or mother with her new boyfriend. It's easy to turn em loose when they only victimize small, helpless people, and men who are foolish enough to get involved with them.
