I've been working on being more authentic lately and it's been going well. These three posts have really changed things for me personally:

Anyway, I put on a show we usually watch together, and she spent the whole episode on her phone watching puppy videos. Whatever. I'm not gonna watch by myself, so I pull out my laptop and start watching some videos for an online course I'm taking.

I have the speed cranked up because the guy talks slow as fuck. She's in a bubbly, hyper mood, so she starts imitating the guy, talking real fast like him, right in my ear. Shit was annoying, I tell her to knock it off. I don't remember what I said, but it came out pretty snarky to be honest and killed her mood. I didn't say anything while she collected her things and went into the bedroom.

Part of me thinks I could of handle this better, other part of me says let it go. She ticked me off for a second, I reacted without filter, she left. End of story?
