So I came into this year not really knowing anyone on my hall or at my school. Met a group of kids on my hall and they're all chill enough. First week we all pregamed in my room because I had an alcohol plug (they paid me of course). Got to know them a bit better and they're pretty chill, however it seems like we only hang out together when we are partying. Otherwise we don't see too much of one another.

Maybe it's just my insecurity speaking, because they are all down the hall pretty far and we always have a good time when we go out together (which has been every night we've been here, so about 14 days) and they continue to invite me, even though I haven't had any alcohol for over a week. Additionally a couple of the kids knew each other before they came down, so they have some rapport.

Is this a normal "problem" as a freshman only about 2 weeks in to college?
