Everyday women prove to me why they hate being women. The beauty standards in America have gone to the bottom of the freaking incinerator. Instead of eating healthy, dieting, exercising, being modest when it comes to smoking or doing drugs, embracing their bodies natural state. It is more common for women to brag about how they intend to get a BBL or tummy tuck. If it is not that, it's a conversation about the twelfth or twentieth tattoo they’re going to get on their arm, chest, or back etc. I also shouldn’t go on about all of the hair dying, 6 or 7 inch fingernails that they need to do every other day. Piercings that do nothing but look like chunks of metal sitting on your face. The wigs, lacefronts, extensions, all of these things that make gorgeous woman after gorgeous woman a shadow of her natural self.
I have spent some time overseas and I have been to countries where the women wouldn’t dare do all of these things to their body because it is considered an insult to the parents who gave them life and their bodies.
Women are always talking about how men hate them and men don’t appreciate their bodies enough. But in my opinion it’s women who hate themselves. In fact, everyday they are trying to run away from themselves, they are doing everything they can to not be their natural selves.
Furthermore, I think especially in America and some other western countries women no longer want to be women. Anything associated with traditional femininity and womanhood they don’t want to deal with. They are always constantly talking about how they want to do what men can do. Make the same money as men, play sports like men, sleep with lots of people like men, the list goes on.
I believe that femininity is either dying or no longer exists in America because women here no longer value traits of traditional women. Instead they value “sexiness” and “empowerment” which I think they confuse with femininity. But those things are separate elements in my opinion.
I’m not saying that women should be in the house and in the kitchen cooking and cleaning all day. But am I asking too much if I say keep your natural hair color, stay away from tattoos and piercings, stay away from surgery it’s overkill never really makes anyone look better, don’t try and do the things that I do because the beauty in man and women being together is that we do different things very well?
Is that asking too much? In this society it is. Because now we’re expected to value everything that women say and nothing men say. And it is for this reason I largely don’t take dating seriously here anymore. If things don’t work out for me here I intend on moving to a part of the world that fits my values more.
What do you think of my theories and perspectives? Can you relate to any of this? Respectfully share below?
