Stayed at a high end hotel recently. Me and this 9/10 blonde young Russian girl get into the elevator together. I make some comment about her big suitcase which she laughs at so before she gets out I tell her to meet me in the hotel bar in 1 hr, at 7pm. She agrees.

Instadate set up literally within 60 seconds of meeting a 9/10 - this is a lesson that being bold works (I told her she had sexy eyes).

She turns up. We go to the bar for drinks. I buy the first round but "only if you buy the next one" - she complies. I kino her face, hair, arms, legs. She calls me cocky. We laugh - a lot.

She said from the start she had to meet her friends at half 8. Half 9 we go outside for a cigarette (yes she's still with me), and she starts talking about how she only sleeps with guys when there are feelings there. She's only slept with 4 guys period.

I make a joke about this but then her friends call her, and within 5 mins she's gone. I ask her number but she wants to take mine instead (apparently she doesn't know hers it's a work number) Realistically we'll never meet again as she's heading back to Russia and I'm not local either - so I don't push the number close.

What did I do wrong in this interaction or was sex never going to happen?
