Time to write your congressmen, folks!

And target your state-level representatives heavily on this too. They have more power in this space than you know.

For example, Texas has a law that forces banks underwriting the state's municipal bond market to certify that they don't exclude/discriminate against the firearms industry in their lending practices, otherwise their business gets the boot -- the business gets locked out of underwriting Texas's muni bond market. That's extremely expensive and painful boot, considering how big Texas is. If memory serves, Texas also requires the banks to do that non-discrimination certification stuff for the fossil fuel industry. More states also do stuff like this too, Texas is not alone.

Write your lawmakers and ask them to do something about this discriminatory practice and punish companies for trying to push "shadow legislation" this way. I'm writing my representatives (federal and state) now!
