I fucking love Firefly!!! I can’t accurately say who was the best villain because the show was so short that I feel like my mind has always extended the original stories in so many directions…I forget sometimes what the original was and what I invented. I think you’re right that Yo Saf Bridge was a genuinely formidable opponent, but I liked the storyline that she was actually mixed up in some very dangerous deeper level shit than she even understood. It deepened the plot of the whole show to see that as clever as she was, she might be mixed up in some shit that was well beyond her abilities to escape. I feel like we never saw how deep the rabbithole went. I am sorry to say I don’t believe in the outcome of Serenity. That movie always felt to me like it missed the mark. I have a whole backstory that I literally wrote out for Shepard Book, and I really feel like it was meant to be explored in great detail by the original series but it wasn’t!! I’ve even met Nathan Fillion. It bothers me to say this, because I hate reboots, but I actually want one in this case, just to explore all the possibilities that weren’t ever completed!!

I’m a little bit sorry no one has taken me up on the challenge of what might constitute the fifth wave of Feminism. Where can they seriously go from here? It’s like they have painted themselves into such a ridiculous corner in their philosophy that it’s becoming literally untenable. Don’t you think? -And I don’t mean untenable because I don’t like it, but untenable because it’s just so inconsistent that no one in their right mind can even logically follow it anymore. I mean, I don’t even think it makes emotional sense!!! Women have so many roles in major places now that I can’t imagine how it could be argued in the next generation that they are constantly being harmed by male roles in society. From my perspective, some have more than dominated every damn thing in society for decades now.

I know what you mean. I’ve had women I had to just “lose the number” for, after they pulled unbelievably rude shit…which was based on the premise that as a man I was automatically their servant. One of them came to my house and demanded I take her to a concert. Needless to say there was absolutely not one single instance of her ASKING -in advance or even when she showed up, she just demanded. I made it clear that at that precise moment I didn’t have a working car, so there would be no driving her to the concert…which, by the way, was one state away. (I’m not kidding, and it was THAT NIGHT.) I outright refused, but she couldn’t just listen to me, so she walked up and down the street asking neighbors to borrow their car, so that I COULD drive her in THEIR car -a state away, to the concert. I had to follow along behind her, apologizing and insisting that she stop asking them and ruining my relationship with my neighbors.

It took her over an hour and a half for her to ruin our friendship (of many years), and embarrass me in front of all my neighbors. By then, it was pretty clear that we had basically no reasonable way to return to being friends. She just destroyed a perfectly good friendship out of complete pleonexic selfishness.

I had two cases:

years long friend from uni, she asked me money and because I trusted her, I lended it to her. She asked for 10K pesos, but since it was a lot I lended her 5K pesos, she told me she would give them back to me in two months (she had a way better job than me, so she could repay me in that timeframe). Well, she took one fucking year to repay me and in the middle of that year she tried to make me believe I only lended her 3K. After she made the final payment, she cut all contact with me. Fucking leech.
This is the one from the previous message, years long friend too. we were arranging for her to come eat dinner at my house (we used to cook in each others house from time to time), and the next week she stops responding my messages. This was highly unusual since we spoke at least a bit every week. after a month of messaging a wal, I started to think something really serious happened to her, she responded to me only because I told her than if I had no response I would start asking common aquaintances. She told me she was dealing with some shit and scolded me for trying to talk about her with other people in the same message. I told her I would give her some space. Months passed and still no word from her. I finally asked via whatsapp if she was still going through issues or she just cut me off (to with I added than considering the lenght of our friendship, the least i deserve is for her to be upfront). She left me on read. IMO she can go die on a ditch.

Yeah, as to number one…This is why it’s always hard to force yourself to learn never to loan money to ANYONE. Period. The only exception is if you don’t expect to get it back. Then you might as well…Why not? I once loaned several thousand to a coworker at my job. I was the union representative so I knew exactly what he earned and I could check his paychecks any time I wanted to. So after I loaned him the money, what does he do? He quits the job (where he had worked for almost 15 years), and then leaves his wife and children and moves to a different state. Honestly, he was a veteran who had suffered a lot, so I really didn’t take it to heart that he did that. In a way it was like I was donating to a veteran with PTSD that I personally knew…but I did stay in touch with him. It soured me to think he never even made ANY attempt to pay me back though. So that was officially my LAST time loaning money. I decided I was done after that. I couldn’t even trust my closest friends who worked next to me, side-by-side, at a profession where we had to trust each other with our lives. So for you, that girl was clearly not worth the trouble you went to just to loan her money. I always try to remember that if it has to do with money, it’s fair to ask, “Okay, so what is in this for me?” If the person asking for your money doesn’t care if you get anything in return, then they are scumbag who just wants your money and has no intention of paying it back.

As for Number Two, that girl sounds like “Saffron,” or whatever her real name was, in Firefly. What I’ve been sad to see is that nowadays people really think they can get away with anything. I hope you BLAST to all your mutual friends who that piece of shit really is. Here is something I really think makes you garbage as a human being: You have a problem with someone else and so instead of stating you have a problem and hearing their response, you choose to be disgusting self-righteous coward and you just disappear from their lives. Yes, that makes you worthless as a human. Ghosting, blocking someone out of the blue, being a friend one day and a lying scumbag the next who pretends not to know you…all of that is the clearest and most incontrovertible proof of your character overall. If you think treating someone else like they can be cut out of your life at any second you feel like being a piece of shit, is okay, then you’re the actual piece of shit. There is no one so utterly valueless as a human being, than someone for whom the word loyalty has no meaning, and who thinks that friendship is meaningless, and who is such a pathetic immature baby that they avoid even the conflict of telling you honestly how they feel about whatever the fuck they are deciding to stop interacting with you about. It really doesn’t matter why they do that. That’s a dirtbag move. A person with no loyalty as a friend, who you can’t even trust to share their thoughts with you before they vanish like a thief in the night, is just a user and an abusive narcissistic piece of trash.

I seriously don’t give a fuck what someone thinks makes it okay to just go and vanish from someone else’s life without any explanation. Someone who would do that to a friend, would also abandon a baby. They aren’t worth the value of their own organs on the opened market. -And as Forest Gump would say, “That’s all I have to say about that…”
