Few years back, I used to think on every women's day that why there's no men's day? Why society is not celebrating men's existence, their contribution to the society and family? But, two years back I got to know that there's Men's day on 19th November. But it doesn't get celebrated like women's day and my brain started to think about this sexism or biased. I asked many people about it and their answers were: 1. Men have all the day. (I asked them how and they were never having any explanation to their sentance.) 2. Because women were oppressed and men have never faced any oppression. 3. Because men are oppressors, toxic they should improve, they're bad and that's why no need to celebrate their contribution. 4. Men are already privileged. 5. Men don't have any issues, we celebrate women's day to talk about women's issues.

After analysing all these people's comments I got to know that there's a hardcore theory in people's mind regarding gender that women are oppressed and it's so much into people's mind that whenever people see men having something which women don't have they try to snatch it from men and give it to women. Whenever they see women in trouble they want to make it social issue and will blame society for it. Thinking men are privileged they don't even want to solve men's issues. For example, we have many unnecessary days for women thinking they're oppressed even in west like, daughters day, girls day, Hizab day, housewives day, women in STEM etc. But, people have problem with one day for men also thinking they're privileged, they don't have any issues.

But, I think there must be some days to talk about men's issues like: Day to recognise Domestic violence against men Day to recognise sexual assault and harassments against men, Day to recognise war crime against men Day to recognise forceful enlistment of men in army Day to recognise fathers contribution to the family Day to recognise impacts fatherless homes Day to recognise the reasons behind boys in behind the schools Day to recognise genital mutilation of boys Day to recognise homelessness Day to recognise men behind in female dominated industries like nursing, teacher, modelling etc. (Anything you want to add)

So I think there's a need to actually celebrate Men's day, not just to recognise their contribution but to talk about these problems atleast on this day of year.
