I lived in fight or flight for YEARS because of PTSD (I couldn't turn it off sadly until I learned how to), that isn't how Fight or Flight works. Yes fighting means fighting but foesnt mean screaming at someone to fight. It means YOU DO because adrenaline literally pumps into your system.

I know these things aren't a competition but I feel competitive right now

I had a girlfriend try to fix the connections on a gas grill outside and asked me to come out with her

She turned on the gas and asked me if I would with the wand lighter attempt to light it

The next moment was key as I found out this woman could care less what happens to me

She asks if I would do it, handing me the wand then stepping several steps away and giving her back to the grill and then bracing herself

I said, are u f*king serious? She says you're a man you're supposed to take risks

Not right away but I stopped seeing her after that as I realized I'm disposable to her
