I know many men like me would love women to initiate more, but women do not gain much initiating dating or relationships:

  • They still will have options even if they just sit on a couch and open an app.
  • They are not desperate for sex.
  • Women do not like social risks just as most men, but also they do not feel the need to have them.
  • Some men would abuse her approach to get sex rather than take her seriously.
  • Approaching women and initiating is a shit test women expect men to take voluntarily, usually the entry test. If they are not able to do that, they would not even consider you.
  • Women have the upper hand in this market. They set the rules. Some of them set them too high for any women to even consider them, but at least they always have options unless most men.

However, men also have some unexpected privileges in current times:

  • Unlimited access to porn. You can get an orgasm without a woman and don't think about women or sex for a while. The therapeutic value of porn may not replace women but at least does not make you miserable for just being horny.
  • Apps to do not help average men, but regardless you do not need much effort in apps either. You can "at least try" and maybe get something.
  • Western men have access to a worldwide market of women now. They can just go to other countries and get women and rejection will not matter there where no one knows you.
  • No woman can blame you for anything anymore. In the past men were responsible for caring for their families and working, they had legal privileges but also legal obligations to their women, but today women have all options: all relationship failures and single motherness and bad boyfriends are their fault and they are the choosers now. Just as you do not need to be empathic to rich people who took risky investments, you do not need to be empathic to those women anymore. They are not forced to date or marry, so all their decisions on dating and sex are up to them and so are all the consequences. You are free from caring anymore as men in the past were forced to.
