At the National level, an equal proposal to have a council for boys and men was blocked by the Obama administration.

When I asked a question about this not too long ago, some pointed out that even if such a council or commission were created, it doesn’t mean it will do anything notable for men. Consider how some colleges offer “men’s studies” classes taught by feminists. I’ve certainly experienced many lame duck committees. My fear is government may still be incredibly biased in favor of women but point to such a lame duck commission as “proof” they are equally focusing on men’s issues.
