My advice would be to participate in as many activities as possible. Play sports and join a gym to make some bros. Do public speaking, dancing or anything artsy to meet girls.

Be the type of guy that isn't binded to one group. Move freely, say hi to everyone and be well-known. Find out who the big players are, get invited to their parties and expand from there. If you're friendly, hands-on with the girls and can make a joke with the boys, you can start turning up to parties formally 'uninvited' and, due to your high SMV, you'll be welcome.

Not a lot of people get a clean slate, a chance to start fresh. Build the life and identity you want.

Join a sport. Be social. Get involved. Expand your social circle as quick as possible by joining anything you can do that people are in a sense forced to talk to you. Make friends of of that and then meet their friends. etc

Easiest? Bully an unpopular kid. Is it the most satisfying? No. You can work on being cool (but don't try too hard) and have a cool hobby that helps people identify with you.
