It sucks but you kind of have to just get used to it, and become at peace with it

Of course that doesn't mean you should stop improving what you can but you should get to the stage where you don't really care about it anymore. That just comes with doing the things that your mind is trying to tell you you shouldn't do, or you wouldn't enjoy, and doing them often. No real easy or quick fix, the whole thing of not giving a fuck that's so often preached about on here isn't something that you can suddenly turn on after a lifetime of giving many fucks. Keep putting yourself in those uncomfortable situations and you'll start noticing they feel more and more comfortable.

You're welcome to use your looks as an excuse for whatever you like. Plenty of people have excuses. I know fat people who can't get a job because they're fat. In reality, they can't get a job because they're lazy and show it, but they are happier telling people it's because people are biased against fatties.

You want to do something (get a job), but tell yourself it can't be done (feel like my looks will lose it).
Pick one.
Either really try and prove that your looks can't hold you back. Or let your looks be your excuse so you can stop having to really try at anything.
