According to wikipedia.org, "Men being violent against women is never acceptable, on- or off-camera; in Ringmaster, Springer mentions that he always asks if the woman wants to press charges" however, the article does mention a fight "quota" for each episode, so presumably, women attacking men, men attacking men, and women attacking women is ok. Seems a bit sexist to say that if a woman attacks a man and he defends himself because "security" took a bit too long to pull her off, that she should be the one pressing charges. I am against violence to or from anybody regardless of gender.
