It is impressive that someone can get burns on their upper back when a pot is flipped by accident at waist level.

The fact that there were burns on her wrist, and not her fingers, supports the claim that she threw the water at him, and discredits her claim that she accidentally put her fingers in the pot. Go now, pick up a pot of water, and throw the water at a target. Guess where some of the water lands? Your wrist.

She may have got off on a technicality with respect to reasonable doubt, but there is little doubt in my mind as to what transpired in that relationship.

If the sexes were reversed he would be guilty and in prison. I remember reading about this case when it came out. However, without all the evidence I obviously cannot adjudicate. The problem is the jury only seems to know what reasonable doubt is, when it is a female as a defendant, and particularly if the victim was a male.
