Basically, I'm just wondering if it's legal to get with a girl that's 16 or 17 in US states where it is set lower. It seems odd to me that states set their own age, because I was thinking that if an angry parent wanted to, they could bring it to federal court which would land you in prison. Am I correct on this assumption?
