I've been having a real tough time getting to a second date lately.

Many times I will have a positive first date, with the girl even speaking of plans to meet up again, and then a second date never happens. Either get flaked, or ghosted, or something similar. Honestly it has been over a year since I have been on a second date with a girl and I have been on a decent amount of dates in this time.

I feel at least some of these I may have lost to my bad text game. A lot of the time I like to wait a while after the date to text since I am often pretty busy and have other things to tend to. I have a feeling some girls lose interest if you wait a week to text them. I try not to put in effort at this stage since I often overthink things and I think it backfires.

Any thoughts from the TRP crowd? Could really use help here.
