Good morning, gentlemen. I'm "Jay" and I'm a 28 year old, single male living with genital herpes (HSV-2). Obviously, this will be an first interesting first thread.

I came to a stunning realization this morning; despite having disclosed my disease to every sexual partner I've had since learning that I was infected, I don't really have any proof of disclosure that would be admissible in court.

Uh oh...hopefully all my exes are good sports...that or they don't realize how badly they could fuck me over just by claiming that I never told them.

I was already beginning to lean towards the MGTOW lifestyle, but this realization might just push me over the edge. Regardless, I'd like your advice on how to proceed IF (big if) I decide not to eschew all non-platonic relationships with women.

So...the million dollar question is, how do I protect myself? Exactly what sort of proof do I need of disclosure? Audio recording? Video? Signed and witnessed contract? Are text messages or Facebook communications be admissible? What's more, should I reiterate disclosure in a pre-nup (yes, there will be a pre-nup) IF I get married?

I know I should probably talk to a lawyer, and probably will before anything more happens in my personal life, but I'd like to hear what insights and advice you guys have. Thanks.
