Ignoring the very obvious bias in the article and it's unfunny nature, she took most of the examples wildly out of context.

Calling Ellie from Last of Us or Elizibeth from Bioshock Infinite merely damsels in distress with daddy issues would be grossly out of context. The weird thing is it doesn't matter what you do with a female character in those types of games. Make her an unfeeling angel of death and you are accused of not exploring her femininity. Make her a normal human being with human reactions to horrible situations and you are suddenly stereotyping.

I'm sad that Cracked let this article go live.
