Coincidentally, my daughter told me today of a story about a woman, where her mom [my ex] works, who claimed she was raped at a bus stop after work. No one was specifically identified. The police were involved and the men in the office were very ill at ease as they were under suspicion. The women were also on edge thinking that there was a rapist in the area. That's putting it mildly, the whole place was in chaos.

She just recently fessed up to her lies. She made the story up so that she could get off work for a few days. Very strange. [Putting it mildly.]

It's good there was some variety of consequence .. but really the punishment isn't severe enough. She should have to go to jail for the same time he would have if the charge had stuck. End of story.
