Have any of you seen the movie "super"? I feel like it deals with quite a few of the topics brought up here, and could be a great discussion piece for MRA issues.

I've seen it. The rape scene was handled poorly I think. It portrays the victim as traumatised, but then it just carries on with the rest of the film as if the rape never happened and they are still best buddies. Not as bad as the ha-ha-he's-getting-raped scene that you often see, but still pretty bad.

I had assumed this movie was just trying to ride the hype surrounding the more successful Kick-Ass. Perhaps OP is right, and there is more to this flop than we all believed. Too bad these MRA related issues never made it onto the post.

Great movie, very dark. Plus Ellen Page is hot (although sadly a feminist).
