Antibiotic Protects Men from Attractive Women

Given that women can trust highly attractive men more and fall into similar "traps", I have pondered that , by denying ovulation (and all the hormonal things it entails, including responding to male scents and pheromones differently) has been acting in a similar way to this antibiotic for quite some time without conscious acknowledgement or awareness by the general public.

Women dress, act, spend, and interact (with men and women) differently when they are ovulating vs. not ovulating. There's even some evidence that men respond to ovulating women differently (including higher tips to ovulating vs. non-ovulating strippers, controlling for other factors). I think that hormonal regulation changes how women respond to men, and I am not surprised that they've found something hormonal that does the same in reverse.

As an aside -- I'm not sure if it's healthy to just take a pill to protect oneself from responding in a certain way. Perhaps its better to educate men (and women) about how easily high attractiveness sways our decision-making, so that people can arm themselves with knowledge?

That's particularly interesting to me personally .. have been taking this medication for 20+ years. Hrm.. am attracted to very attractive women but was always 50/50 heh. Substantial disparities between the placebo and minocycline. Would like to know better about this actually is quite interesting. I read the open of the article and it just says antibiotic .. and sure enough was the same prescription been taking for my entire adult life lol. I wonder the validity at the same time.. can't prove it wrong. heh.

Says all you need to know about the so-called "patriarchy". Men in charge means women do better.
