Don't worry. You handled it fine. Your comment was simply a joke, and the commenter blew it far out of proportion.

There was once a thread on r/TwoXchromosomes about bodily functions. I said that I'm uncomfortable hearing about them. Sure, it's "biology" and "nature", But I really don't want to hear about how clotty your last period was, or about the chunks of uterine wall that were expelled from your body (and they take pictures of those and share it on the sub!).

It's your right to not want to hear about the disgusting things the human body can do. And don't let him/her shame you for telling them to lighten up. They have loads of shaming tactics.

By the way, though, That knowledge is truly weird and kind of gross. I'm a woman, and I've never heard that. :|
