Now, I've got to say, the way the comment in question is phrased, "Vaginas…are finicky and, objectively, well– gross. There’s just no other way to put it. They are covered in hair. They ooze and slime– and that’s when you’re doing a good job!" is actually pretty disrespectful. To say vaginas are objectively gross is wrong. That's subjective.

Where the problems come in is that throughout the article, it's repeatedly implied that you're not a real feminist if you don't like munching carpet, after being quickly preempted by a bullshit "preferences are ok" bit. And that you hate women if that's not your thing and you have the gall to say so (not how you say it, but that you say it).

The comments get a lot more crazy though. This one, in particular, is really crazy:

Some individual women may not taste great because of health issues or fundamental pheromone incompatibility or something, but to write off all vaginas as icky and still claim to be a heterosexual male? Come on, guy…

Seriously? Homophobia? Calling someone gay because they don't like a sex act? As a member of the LGBT crowd, I always find it very alienating when feminists push us away (feminists really are very homophobic), and then claim us as allies under their umbrella. Why don't I call a woman a dyke if she doesn't like blowing? That's right, because I'm not a homophobic jerk.

Look, here's another comment calling someone gay, albeit with a bit less disrespect:

I actually consider oral sex to be the acid test of sexuality, so if someone doesn’t like going down on one sex, I think they should try another! As such, the sentiment of Mr. Nutnot isn’t so much misogynist as, well… gay!

What are these people, middle schoolers? We called him gay, that sure showed him. Because being gay is bad, right guise?

The title of the article is "Hating oral sex as the new misogyny? Toward a more feminist sex life". Essentially, it says it is, so I pose this question: if hating going down on a girl is misogyny, is not wanting to give a man a blowjob misandry? You can't have it both ways, ladies.

As a society we privilege the sexual desires of straight men and then limit the expression of those desires.

As long as you don't do anything that would cause women to question your "manliness". Oh you want a prostate massager for multiple orgasms? GHAAAYYY! Fleshlight? LOOOSER! You watch porn? OH MY GOD! You're a pervert and porn is cheating, yadda yadda yadda.

Meanwhile in most of these women's minds "cut is best, it's cleaner and I won't have to worry about STD's" even though 60%+ of STD cases out there are women. Seriously, I'm amazed at how many of these "feminists" will argue for male circumcision, because you know, men can't be trusted to wash their own dicks. But the vagina is a self cleaning sexual organ, just forget about all the blood and infections.

I don't think that's quite the claim. The probably didn't seem to be not enjoying it but the way it was described. I still think calling that misogyny is complete and utter bullshit but it's important to get the point right while refuting it so you don't get ignored by those that agree. Not enjoying the taste, look, or feel of something doesn't mean you hate it or the people it's attached to.
