I'm going to have to ask for a source for this colossal figure.

I've checked with ONS and they don't collate domestic abuse figures separately, they only appear as part of the "Violent Crime and Sexual Offences" tables and focus documents.

Given that the total violent crime rate in the UK is about 2,000 per 100,000 people - or roughly 2% - it's pretty much impossible for 66% of women to have been victims of domestic violence.

I must ask.... How did they define DV? Because 1-in-3 and 1-in-5 are huge numbers...
