Recognize that she won't respect a doormat. The problem isn't being an alpha jerk but in finding ways of marketing it.

Half of this is really just charisma, part of it is learning to be a second father- knowing when to steer her away from shit because it will not make her happy, she will not be better for having engaged with it, and it will only, at best, waste her time- to her without actually coming across as a parental figure because you want to fuck her, part of it is learning how she behaves and thinks so that you can actually appeal to her own (self) interest without being forceful or creepy.

You can learn to tone down the dick behavior. She'll appreciate the gesture that you are correcting your own behavior and respect you for it.

The reverse is not true for someone who was a doormat. A man fighting to reclaim his dignity like that is often seen as a petulant child who's unworthy of respect.

It's like Catholicism- it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask permission.

Why? Being an alpha jerk is all you need to be. Then, when you do seemingly normal shit, she thinks its special and satisfies her beta needs.
