Here is a riding that, due to one womans easily offended nature, essentially does not have a representative in our national assembly. Seven words were enough to keep from her responsibilities... not threats, or actual violence, but an off-hand joke (repeatedly apologized for) was enough to break this woman.

What's extra stupid is that this woman is Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence. Canada has gone full feminist with this lady, and it's getting its just deserts now.

Something tells me Longueuil — Charles-LeMoyne will NOT be electing another woman in the future. Something else tells me the women in Parliament are likely to receive a fair number of "words" to test their metal as well. What riding wants to end up with a Romanado?

The part that infuriates me is that this is likely directed. Get this woman away from her party whip, her leader, and the party apparatus and you'd likely find out that she didn't consider this to be particularly noxious.

But, it can be played for points in parliament, and clearly was. When five apologies aren't good enough, you know the party is mining it and trying to stretch it out for some cheap political points. Sending her home to ostensibly lick her wounds and have her not talk to the press except in vague generalities is absolutely something a party would do to milk this.

We need more women in politics? If this is an example no we don't.

We do need more MRA and Antifeminist women in politics, to show woman how to do politics right.
