Establishing unambiguous consent is more important now than ever. Always has been, but these scandals are showing how quickly those involved in relationships with questionable consent can have their livelihoods ruined within a day. Unless you're a part of the elite and can afford lawyers, PR teams, and settlements. As Spacey, Weinstein, and O'Reily have shown, even that won't save a habitual offender once the floodgates open.

Establish consent and preserve the evidence.Text messages, phone calls, good ol' fashioned love letters. It's horrid to think that saving expressions of romantic intent is something we should do not only out of love, but also to protect a person's future.
