Big Red videos are posted here weekly and sometimes daily. This is a recent Sargon of Akkad video challenging Big Red, specifically on the claims she makes in the "outtakes" from the Red Pill interview.

There's an interesting part of the video around the 18 min. mark where Cassie points out to Big Red that even though most politicians and people listed on the Forbes 500 are men, men are also disproportionately represented at the very bottom of society, what Warren Farrell calls "the glass cellar" (as opposed to "glass ceiling").

Both Sargon and Big Red are wrong imo.

Sargon claims that Feminists "don't have a solution" to the problem of homelessness and male homelessness in particular. This isn't necessarily true. Some feminists advocate killing 90 percent of men, for example; that would probably eliminate all male homelessness.

Left wing feminists who aren't nuts may also have what they consider solutions: eg they might argue for a small tax on Wall Street transactions that would eliminate homelessness over night (correct, so far as I can tell).

Big Red is also wrong: she argues that the glass cellar is not a feminist issue. However if feminist theory were accurate, we wouldn't find 90 percent of rough sleepers to be men. Men -- rather than women -- would be privileged in some way. So Big Red not only failed to refute apex fallacy but didn't even understand the question.

As for whether "feminists are to blame" for male homelessness, this is actually a complex question. Homelessness has probably existed since the dawn of civilization, if for no other reason than hunter-gatherer bands (who were nomadic) had no conception of "home" (rather a multitude of homes, that they would return to based on the natural cycles of their ecosystem). Homelessness exploded when capitalism was introduced, because the "commons" of Europe were enclosed. Many men (and women) preferred to be beggars rather than wage slaves. This led to the practice of branding people who refused to work (work pretty much all day, everyday, mind you) and they no longer held any property (which was previously communal in nature).

Under industrialization the homeless population again increased, because "communities" became large urban environments and your worth as a human being was contingent on how much money you earned among the faceless hoard. This remains the situation today.

So Big Red has cognitive dissonance over how, in a patriarchal society, men could be less advantaged at the most extreme end. She doesn't realize that females are privileged when it comes to "society" wanting to keep them alive and help them.

There's an even more interesting layer to this. Feminists have unquestionably passed or defended laws that result in male homelessness. These would include domestic violence laws, alimony laws, laws about who can and can't use shelters and so forth.

If Big Red had more time to prepare for the interview, I suspect she would have said, "patriarchy causes us to protect women more because they are viewed as helpless and men are viewed as strong." Apart from the obvious "patriarchy" idiocy that would be fine -- if feminists ever acted to oppose such ideas. They don't. At every opportunity they have tried to increase female privilege while attacking men and their rights.
