fatties who are doing 'big is beautiful' are laboring wheezily under the feminist/sjw pretense that our sexual attractions are all culturally indoctrinated, that little girls can play with trucks if they aren't manipulated early in life to like dolls, etc.

The problem with this theory is it contradicts the claims of homosexuals who say it isn't a choice. They're saying attraction to thin is a sickness, and people can change it if they're freed from cultural indoctrination to 'like thinner bodies'. Its really quite a great experiment. If, for 10-20 years they keep trying to perpetuate this message and it still fails, it proves that innate attractions are programmed into us genetically, not culturally unless its very, very superficial.

let them explore this concept and be lonely and let them cause hostility towards themselves for trying to shame and control others' proclivities.

It is much more likely to be symbolic, such extreme body disfigurement, than reality.

Classical Greek women ranged from 'young' (e.g. teens because before there was the word teenager or adolescent, they were called young) women, who were quite thin and had diminutive tits, to what is basically a masculinized version of women, in terms of muscle and leg girth, while retaining the feminine qualities of the stomach ponch, etc.

If they want to draw their arguments from the art world, look out because there's far more nude male youths as symbols of beauty than would be acceptable today.

The book generated some controversy because "society is not accustomed to seeing beauty in young males", Greer claims. Greer has described the book as "full of pictures of 'ravishing' pre-adult boys with hairless chests, wide-apart legs and slim waists". She goes on to say that, "I know that the only people who are supposed to like looking at pictures of boys are a subgroup of gay men," she wrote in London's Daily Telegraph. "Well, I'd like to reclaim for women the right to appreciate the short-lived beauty of boys, real boys, not simpering 30-year-olds with shaved chests.

Maybe they wouldn't mind, of course as long as its 'women only' in that club.

And then, of course, there are all the women in middle ages to renaissance art who are thin and anemic in the shoulder area, with small, upturned tits, akin to the early 1900's flappers. And that today, that preference will get people labeled as a closet pedophile for liking small tits and small bodies, at least if that person is a male.

They want to cherry pick their examples. There is a painting of a young boy, probably something in 12 or 13, with a seductive look, some wine, and some fruit. And we all know the predilection for young male flesh of their students which master artists of the period were often to indulge in.

But let's cherry pick only those images which make your point and ignore the plethora of opposing images and the lifestyles of the painters themselves. They weren't chubby chasers.

And kings and nobility of the period where these paintings were made weren't chubby chasers of women over 16.

They're taking the premise that art reflects literal reality to an extreme and unsupported conclusion.

The Beautiful Boy

The Beautiful Boy (or just The Boy) is a book, ISBN 0-8478-2586-8, by Germaine Greer, published in 2003. Its avowed intention was "to advance women's reclamation of their capacity for and right to visual pleasure". It is a study of the youthful male face and form, from antiquity to the present day, from paintings and drawings to statuary and photographs.

The cover picture caused minor controversy when the subject of the photograph, Björn Andrésen, a Swedish actor and musician who played Tadzio in Death in Venice (billed by the director Luchino Visconti as "the most beautiful boy in the world") stated in the press that he objected to the picture having been used without his permission.
