Breitbart should not be trusted without a second source to back up any claims.

The age of consent in Denmark is 15, so by no means was the asylum seeker "underage".

The reason this is a case at all is that the relation falls under the paragraph where it is illegal to have sexual relations with someone under 18 towards whom you have the role of trusted guardian.

"Den, som har samleje med en person under 18 år, der er den skyldiges adoptivbarn, stedbarn eller plejebarn eller er betroet den pågældende til undervisning eller opdragelse, straffes med fængsel indtil 4 år."

The important part here is that you can be covered by this paragraph if the person is under 18 (and 15 or above) and you are entrusted with this person's education or upbringing ("undervisning eller opdragelse"). And this is directed towards parental figures and teachers.

So yes, she broke the law and ended up paying 10.000 dkk and got 3 months + a year under observation (maximum possible sentence was 4 years in jail). On top of this she will never work with people under 18 again, which is as it should be.

She was never going to get near the 4 years in jail, since that is meant for very severe cases like those where parents/guardians have sex with their kids/adopted kids. Also, she had no priors and the case was not about the boy being hurt (underlined by his own testimony during the trial) but about the fact that he felt he was under undue pressure because of her role in his asylum case.

So it was a very good thing she was found guilty, but the sentence was not out of the ordinary considering the particulars of this specific case.

Even the United Nations have suggested that this is an epidemic with endless cases of women raping and abusing vulnerable underage asylum seekers from war torn countries who have already been traumatized.

The victims aren't accusing any governments-they are accusing people who claim to be volunteers. Which rules out a hidden agenda and makes this even more disturbing.

The fact that its mostly female rapists is perhaps why the media aren't interested in the UN reports.
