Well that's a pretty unfair pic. Women contribute plenty to society in various ways. It's just not usually in construction.

We are not about putting down women. We are about raising up men, specifically in terms of legal rights. If you are hear to just attack women and praise men, not to support men's rights, then I do not believe this is, nor should it be, the place for you.

Women staying home and taking care of children and the household affairs was what allowed men to get out there and do these things. Plus women did make plenty of contributions but were often not credited for their work. I hate when people say dumb things like "we would be living in caves if not for men" That's just ridiculous. If men had stayed at home and women got out there instead we would have likely ended up with a very similar society. I think industrialization probably would have happened sooner. Not because women are smarter but because our lack of strength would have created a greater need for machinery.

not sure about that, what drives technological and material progress is competition and men are more competitive as a sexual strategy to provide resources to women. women typically don't have to be as competitive because they already have a higher biological and sexual value.

I'm not entirely sure about that. For example anarchist Spain embraced a cooperative model and productivity actually increased by a significant margin. The same thing happened in the GE pilot program where they eliminated managers and let the workers make decisions for themselves (innovations as well as productivity increased; the program was shut down because the owners were worried the workers would begin demanding more pay).
However even more cooperative societies entail some degree of competition, so I partly agree. And men are still responsible for most inventions and the work that keeps civilization humming, so I don't think Joy is correct either.

lol no. We can value women's contributions without engaging in ridiculous fantasy. Even today the vast majority of inventors are male, and males do the vast majority of work that keeps civilization from collapsing. If women took a day off it would cause a major headache. If men took a day off we'd be living in a Mad Max movie within a week.

Naaa, I believe in the ability of of people, regardless of sex, to rise to the occasion in times of crisis. But in a hypothetical society where men are home makers and women are workers and soldiers we would have evolved according. The women and men in that universe would be very different compared to us. Which means that in that world women would make up the vast majority of inventors, etc. So the society would be similar to ours but the women would be more comparable to our men and their men to our women. Of course this is a hypothetical world and in no way a ideal world as it would still have the same problems of inequality.

The vast majority of inventions were invented by male geniuses, and studies on IQ reveal that female geniuses are a tiny minority. Males also make up the majority of imbeciles.
This is because females never had any natural reason to become geniuses.
Read Roy F. Baumeister's "Is there anything good about men?" to learn more.

But IQ isn't the whole argument. Females sexually select for males, not vice versa.

And men have suffered a severe price for being male -- being the "disposable sex" (women and children first). It is the very height of narcissism that feminists demand "women first" while simultaneously demanding privilege in the traditional male sphere. Indeed it's grotesque.
You're also ignoring the fact that men are the ones who risk death to build and maintain civilization.
If it makes you feel any better most men are in the same boat as women. I don't have a 200 IQ either.
