Maybe it's double standards in reporting. Maybe it's not. But for anyone watching Love Island in the UK & Ireland will be aware that a contestant called Adam Collard came under fire for 'abusive behaviour' earlier in the competition. Link below;

It's fair, to an extent. He's a dog. Producers look long and hard for contestants who can cause as much drama. Adam is the perfect villain for the show. The very contestant he gas-lit did come out and say he wasn't abusive, just juvenile.

However, what bothers me is that female contestant plays several men off of each other, manipulation of friends, claiming she wouldn't interfere with other relationships and, of course, the downright lying. And this is simply labelled 'drama' by the media.

I don't mind criticism towards men as we are human, we are deserving of criticism at time like any echelon of humanity. But when the same behavior is seen in a woman, it should be labelled the same.
