It's disturbing that an entire hospital can be so clueless as to handle an intact penis. They don't even know the facts.

In terms of circumcision culture, we're still very much in the dark ages of medicine.

Do they even teach this stuff in medical school? Pretty embarrassing that a RN would not know this. I hope the family wins a chunk of change. Then they have to teach all the staff about basic male anatomy.

Sounds like the hospital was doing its job and preventing an infection by doing what the penis foreskin is designed to do.
