You could give an example like "a male CEO on X and a female secretary on Y has a pay gap of Z, does that need to be addressed?" They should answer something like "well no, they have different jobs, different responsibilities and a different workload." You should then be able to say, "but that's literally the pay gap you are discussing?"

I have to disagree with you for a sentence that way everyone on Twitter is parroting same thing. I was actually impressed by the number of women there were actually dispelling on Twitter. But then again, I am very new to Twitter and the people that I am following are probably not as narrow as they will be when Twitter starts adjusting my reviewing preferences. If you have been on Twitter for any length of time greater than six months, you are most likely only getting an echo chamber of articles and posts related to what you really want to see you. Unfortunately that's how the majority of the social networks are doing it now.

The wage gap represents pay for equal work. That's the whole point.

The wage gap is a lie of course. Feminists deliberately quote stats that have nothing to do with the wage gap to promote the wage gap. AKA lying.

The wage gap is hate speech.
