It'd be interesting to see how the dating world in the US would change if we made prostitution legal. I wonder if more women would be outraged...or if more would just be open about expecting money and gifts in exchange for sex. Either way, the majority of men would still be paying unfortunately.

Some might say limiting supply by morals, risk of arrest, etc drives the price up.

If prostitution was allowed it's price would drop dramatically.

That's why women and their male slave ban it. Women want the price of sex to be a wedding ring.
