Do you mean sleeping with whores as paying for sex? That could help but I see many downsides there, so I didn't risk it myself. I know some guys that did it, it worked for most and only backfired with one, but it backfired badly.

If you mean easy chicks, yep. Basically that's how you do it.
The only thing you have to watch yourself over is not getting used to some sort of chicks, you need challenge to overcome the shyness.
Basically you have an easy time with any chick two leagues under you. I had an easy time with girls with a particular taste too, even in my own league. I thought I overcame approach anxiety then suddenly I froze in an environment, couldn't get myself to open. It turned out I hadn't managed to get a hard shell against rejection, I just got used to chicks that wouldn't reject me.
